Legal
Effective October 5, 2026. Last updated October 5, 2026.
Read this first. These Terms include a binding arbitration agreement and class action waiver (Section 23), an all-sales-final policy for mystery products (Section 7), a definition of what our guarantees do and do not cover (Sections 5 and 10), the rules for referrals, rewards, and the Partner Program (Sections 13 through 15), and the Official Rules for our giveaways (Part C). By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or buying anything on Ripprz, you agree to all of it.
Part A
These Terms govern your use of Ripprz and every purchase you make here. They include an arbitration agreement, a class action waiver, and an all-sales-final policy for mystery products.
Ripprz ("Ripprz", "we", "us", "our") operates ripprz.com and the related services, pages, and emails that make up the platform (the "Site"). Ripprz is operated by Jacob Guan, an individual doing business as Ripprz.
These Terms of Service ("Terms"), together with the Privacy Policy in Part B and the Giveaway Official Rules in Part C, form a binding agreement between you and Ripprz.
You accept these Terms when you do any of the following: create an account, join the waitlist, make a purchase, load account credits, enter the giveaway, or otherwise use the Site. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
We ask you to confirm acceptance with a checkbox at sign-up and again at checkout, and every waitlist form states that joining means you agree to these Terms. The acknowledgement you give at checkout is recorded with your payment.
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States to create an account, make a purchase, or enter the giveaway. By creating an account you represent that this is true.
Partner exception. A creator who lives outside the United States may create an account solely to apply for and take part in the Partner Program (Section 15). That account cannot buy packs, load credits, or enter giveaways, which stay limited to US residents.
One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at support@ripprz.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
You agree to give us accurate information (your name, email, and, when you request a shipment, a valid shipping address) and to keep it current.
We may require identity or age verification at any time, including before a shipment or a buyback. We may refuse, suspend, or close any account that does not pass verification or that we reasonably believe is being used in breach of these Terms.
A Mystery Slab is a physical, professionally graded Pokémon trading card (a "slab"), sold sealed and randomized. When you buy a Mystery Slab you are buying a specific physical collectible that is selected for you by a random draw from the pool for that tier at the moment your payment is confirmed.
Every Mystery Slab purchase delivers a real physical item that you own. You always receive at least the guaranteed minimum contents and the Guaranteed Minimum Value stated on the product page (see Section 5). The only thing that varies is which card within the tier's pool you receive.
The reveal animation on the Site is a presentation of a result that has already been determined. The animation, skipping it, or closing your browser does not change the outcome. If the animation fails to display, your item is still allocated to you and will appear in your vault.
Mystery Slabs are collectibles. They are not securities, investments, currency, or a chance to win money. Ripprz does not pay cash for Mystery Slabs or for the items revealed from them. The Buyback Program in Section 10 pays site credit only.
The odds of receiving each rarity tier are listed on every product page before you buy, as percentages that add up to 100%. The odds listed at the moment you pay are the odds that apply to your purchase. We do not use "up to" language, and we never change the odds on a purchase after payment.
Example pulls shown next to each rarity are representative of the kinds of cards in that tier's pool. They are not a promise that a specific card is in the pool at any given time.
Each tier's pool is replenished from reserve inventory as cards are drawn. We may change the odds, contents, pricing, or availability of any tier for future purchases at any time, and we may pause a tier when its pool runs low. Changes never apply to a purchase you have already completed.
General marketing statements on the Site, such as "industry leading hit rates", describe our approach to pricing and pool composition. The odds table on the product page is the binding disclosure for any purchase.
Our draw uses a server-side random process. Results are recorded at the time of the draw and cannot be influenced by you, by the reveal animation, or by us after the fact.
Each product page lists guaranteed minimum contents (for example, the number of slabs) and a Guaranteed Minimum Value for that tier.
"Guaranteed Minimum Value" means the estimated market value of the item, as determined by our third-party pricing data (recent sold listings across major marketplaces) at the time of your reveal. It is an estimate of resale value. It is not a cash amount we pay you, and it is not a guarantee of what any particular buyer will pay in the future. Market values move, and a card's value after the reveal may go up or down.
If an item you receive does not meet the guaranteed minimum contents or the Guaranteed Minimum Value at the time of the reveal, contact support@ripprz.com within 7 days of the reveal. We will, at our option, replace the item with one from the same tier that meets the guarantee or refund the purchase price to your original payment method. This is your sole remedy for a guarantee shortfall.
Prices are shown in US dollars. If we are required to collect sales tax on your order, it is shown at checkout before you pay.
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (currently Stripe). When you pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, your payment details go directly to the processor under its own terms and privacy policy. Ripprz does not store full card numbers.
Account credits. Where offered, you may load credits onto your Ripprz account and use them to buy Mystery Slabs. Credits are a prepayment for products on the Site. They have no cash value, are not transferable, cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for cash, cannot be used anywhere other than the Site, do not earn interest, and are not refundable except where required by law. Purchased credits do not expire, and we do not charge dormancy, inactivity, maintenance, or service fees on any part of your account balance.
Credit loads are limited to US$2,000 per account per day, and your purchased credit balance may not exceed US$2,000 at any time. We may set a minimum load amount and may lower these limits at any time. A pack priced above your available credit balance is paid for at checkout by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
Crypto. Where offered, credit loads may be paid in supported cryptocurrencies through a third-party crypto payment processor. The US dollar value of a crypto payment is fixed at the moment the processor confirms the transaction, and we credit the US dollar value actually received. Crypto payments are irreversible, so check the amount before you send. If a payment arrives late, short, or over the quoted amount, the processor's rules for that situation apply. Network fees are your responsibility. Ripprz does not hold, custody, or convert cryptocurrency on your behalf.
You authorize us and our processors to charge your chosen payment method for every purchase you make.
If a price is displayed incorrectly because of an obvious error, we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid, provided the draw has not yet been executed. Refunds go to the original payment method, and credits spent on a cancelled order are restored as credits.
Because a Mystery Slab's contents are determined by a random draw the moment your payment is confirmed, all Mystery Slab purchases and all credit loads are final. There are no returns, exchanges, or refunds once the draw has executed, and a pull cannot be undone after the result is revealed.
Exceptions. We will refund or replace where (a) the item does not meet the guarantee in Section 5, (b) you were charged more than once for the same order, (c) we cancel an order before the draw, or (d) a refund is required by applicable law.
Chargebacks. Nothing in these Terms limits your right to dispute a billing error with your card issuer. If you think a charge is wrong, please email support@ripprz.com first; most problems can be sorted out within one business day, and a dispute filed with your issuer usually takes weeks. If your issuer reverses a charge for a Mystery Slab, you have been refunded for that purchase, so title to the item drawn from it returns to Ripprz and the item is removed from your vault. If your issuer reverses a charge for a credit load, the credits from that load are removed from your balance. Any buyback credit already issued for a reversed purchase, and any reversed credits you have already spent, become an amount you owe us, which we may offset against your account balance. While a dispute is open we may place a hold on the affected item and on your account balance. We will provide your issuer with the odds disclosure, the checkout acknowledgement recorded with your payment, and the draw record for the transaction.
After a successful purchase, your item is revealed on the Site and recorded in your digital vault. Title to the physical item passes to you when the draw is completed.
Vault storage. We hold vaulted items for you in our secure facility. There is currently no fee for vault storage. If we introduce a storage fee in the future, we will give registered users at least 30 days' notice by email, and the fee will apply only to storage after the notice period ends.
While an item is in the vault, Ripprz bears the risk of loss or damage. If a vaulted item is lost or damaged in our custody, we will replace it with an equivalent item or credit you its estimated market value at the time of the loss, at our option.
No time limit while your account is open. Vaulted items stay in your vault for as long as your account is open. There is no deadline to ship them. We may ask you to verify your identity before we ship or buy back a vaulted item.
After closure. You can't delete your account while any card is in your vault or any pack is unopened (Section 18), so deleting it never takes a card from you. If we close your account, we hold any remaining items for 90 days and try to reach you at your email address at least three times during that period. Items still unclaimed after that may be treated as abandoned and handled in accordance with applicable unclaimed property law.
You can request shipment of any vaulted item from your vault or your dashboard, up to 20 items in one shipment. We currently ship to addresses in the United States only.
Shipping fee. Each shipment costs a flat US$8.00 plus 2% of the shipment's declared value, which covers insurance and weight. The declared value is the sum of the values Ripprz appraised each item at when it was revealed; an item with no appraisal adds nothing to it. The items, the declared value, the fee and its breakdown, the ship-by date, and the estimated delivery window are shown before you confirm. Nothing ships, and no shipping fee is charged, at the time you buy a Mystery Slab.
When you confirm, the fee is charged to your account balance (Section 12). If your balance does not cover it, the request is not placed until you add funds.
Cancellation. You may cancel a shipment request while its status is "Request received" or "Being packed". Cancelling returns every item to your vault and refunds the whole fee to your account balance, to the same credit it was paid from. Removing one item from a shipment that still holds others returns that item to your vault and refunds the insurance charged on it; the flat fee stays with the shipment. Once a shipment is marked shipped it cannot be cancelled.
Delivery estimate. We hand shipments to the carrier within 2 business days of the request, and transit takes 2–5 business days. The window shown before you confirm and on your order page is an estimate.
Address. The shipment goes to the address you select when you confirm; a recipient name and a phone number are required so the carrier can reach you. Make sure it is correct. We are not responsible for shipments sent to an address you provided that was incorrect or out of date.
Insurance and risk of loss. Every shipment is insured to its declared value and sent with tracking. Risk of loss for shipped items passes to you when we hand the package to the carrier with tracking. If a shipment is lost or arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of the delivery date (or the end of the estimated delivery window, if it never arrived). We will file the insurance claim on your behalf and pass through any recovery, up to the declared value.
Delivery. A shipment is delivered on the date we record delivery from the carrier's tracking or the date you confirm delivery from your order page, whichever comes first. The 7-day claim window runs from that date.
Slabs are shipped in protective packaging. Minor cosmetic wear to the outer slab case that does not affect the card or the grade label is not considered damage.
Every item revealed from a Mystery Slab is eligible for a buyback offer from Ripprz for as long as it remains in your vault. That is what "100% buybacks" means: we offer to buy back 100% of the items we sell. It does not mean we pay 100% of market value.
The buyback amount is 90% of the value Ripprz appraised the item at when it was revealed, shown to you before you accept. That amount is fixed at the time of the pull and does not change afterward, however the estimated market value shown elsewhere on the Site may move. You are never required to accept a buyback offer, and there is no deadline to decide. Accept it, decline it, or leave it and come back to it later.
If you accept, the sale is final, title to the item returns to Ripprz, and the buyback amount is added to your Ripprz account balance as site credit within 24 hours. Because the item never left our facility, you do not need to ship anything back.
Where the buyback amount goes depends on how you got the item (Section 12). An item from a pack you paid for by card or from your Ripprz Credit or Ripprz Wallet (including a pack bought with a coupon), and an item you bought on the Marketplace, sells back to your Ripprz Wallet. An item you got free (a first-deposit pack, a Prize Pack, or an item we granted you) or from a pack paid for with Promo Credit sells back to your Ripprz Credit. For a pack paid for partly with Promo Credit, the amount is split between the two in the same proportion as the pack's price was paid.
The offer ends only when the item leaves our facility: once a shipment is marked shipped, the item is no longer eligible for buyback. While a shipment request is open the offer is paused; cancelling the request while it can still be cancelled (Section 9) returns the item to your vault, and the offer with it. Declining an offer does not end your eligibility — you can request a new one later for as long as the item stays in your vault.
We may suspend or change the Buyback Program for future purchases with notice on the Site. A change does not affect a buyback offer already open on an item you hold at the time of the change.
The Marketplace lets you sell a vaulted item to another Ripprz member at a fixed price you set, and buy items other members list. Ripprz operates the Marketplace and holds every listed item in its vault; the sale itself is between the seller and the buyer. Ripprz is not the seller of a Marketplace item and makes no representation about it beyond the appraisal shown on the listing, which is an estimate (Section 5), not a guarantee.
Listing. You may list an item only if it is in your vault, was revealed from a pack you opened or bought here, is not being shipped or sold back, and your account is at least 24 hours old. An asking price must be at least our buyback offer for the item (90% of its current appraised value if it has no buyback offer) and at most 200% of its current appraised value; an item with no appraisal, or whose buyback offer is above that maximum, cannot be listed. While an item is listed it cannot be shipped or sold back. You can change the price or cancel the listing at any time before it sells.
Buying. A Marketplace purchase is paid from your account balance and is final when it completes: the item moves to your vault at once and ownership passes to you, and there is no return, refund, or cancellation. In exceptional cases — a payment chargeback, confirmed fraud, a duplicate settlement, or an operational error — Ripprz may reverse a completed sale: the item returns to the seller's vault, the price is returned to the buyer's balance, and the seller's proceeds are taken back (with the fee returned to the seller as part of that). Both parties are notified and the reversal is recorded. Buying on the Marketplace does not require having opened a pack. From your vault the item is yours like any other: you can keep it, ship it (Section 9), sell it back (Section 10), or list it again.
Fees and proceeds. Ripprz keeps a Marketplace fee of 5% of the sale price; the rest is credited to the seller's account balance as site credit (Section 12) when the sale completes. A seller may instead choose, on each listing and at any time until it sells, to be paid in Ripprz Credit: the full sale price is then credited as Ripprz Credit with no Marketplace fee, and like all Ripprz Credit it can be spent on the site but not withdrawn. Newly credited Marketplace proceeds cannot be spent for 24 hours after the sale, which gives us time to review the transaction; the rest of your balance is unaffected. Proceeds paid without that choice join your Ripprz Wallet, your redeemable balance: they can be withdrawn only as Section 12 allows, and cannot be transferred or otherwise redeemed for cash.
Conduct and review. We may decline, remove, or reverse a listing, and pause or end an account's Marketplace access, where we reasonably believe a sale is not genuine — for example, trading between accounts controlled by the same person, using the Marketplace to move credit between accounts, or listing an item you are not entitled to sell. We may hold proceeds beyond the standard period while we review a sale. We may change or suspend the Marketplace with notice on the Site; a change does not affect a sale already completed.
Your account balance has three parts, shown on the Site as Ripprz Credit, Ripprz Wallet and Promo Credit, and together as your Balance.
When you pay for a pack from your balance, Promo Credit is used first, then Ripprz Credit, then your Ripprz Wallet. Anything else paid from your balance uses Ripprz Credit first, then your Ripprz Wallet. No part of your balance can be transferred to another person.
Withdrawals. Where the withdrawal feature is available, you may request a cash payout of your Ripprz Wallet (your redeemable balance) to a verified bank account. Withdrawals require linking a bank account through our payment processor (Stripe), which runs its own identity and bank verification; your banking details are never stored by Ripprz. Withdrawal requests are reviewed by staff before any transfer is sent, and the requested amount is held from your available balance while the review is open. The minimum withdrawal is US$20. If a request is approved, the transfer is final and the amount leaves your balance. If a request is rejected or you cancel it before approval, the amount is returned to your Ripprz Wallet. We may limit withdrawal amounts, frequency, or availability at any time. Transfers that would bring your total payouts in a calendar year to US$600 or more may require a completed IRS Form W-9, and we will issue you a Form 1099-NEC for that year. Ripprz Credit and Promo Credit cannot be withdrawn.
Your balance does not expire and is not reduced by inactivity. Account balances are not bank deposits, are not insured, and do not earn interest.
If you delete your account (Section 18), any balance left on it is forfeited when you delete it: the deletion screen shows the amount and asks you to confirm first, so spend it before you go if you want to use it. We keep a record of the amount and handle it as applicable unclaimed property law requires. If we close your account, your balance stays on file; a balance remaining 90 days after closure may be treated as abandoned and handled under applicable unclaimed property law, except that we may first apply it to any amount you owe us.
Joining the waitlist requires only an email address. It does not create an account and does not commit you to buy anything. Waitlist members get early access before the general public as inventory allows, but joining does not guarantee inventory, pricing, or the ability to buy any particular pack.
Referral Program. While the Referral Program is running, every account has a referral code and a referral link (ripprz.com/r/your-code). Your code is your username, or your username with a number added (for example ash-2) if an earlier account used that name. If a new customer signs up with your code or link, or enters your code with their first deposit, and their first deposit of at least US$30 clears, you receive US$15 of Promo Credit as soon as it clears, and they receive the free first-deposit pack every new account gets (Section 14), not site credit. A referral code belongs to one account, and no two accounts can ever share one. A code is never given to anyone else, even after the account that held it is closed or its username is removed: links to it stop working instead.
What counts as a deposit. A deposit is money the account holder pays us to load credit, using a payment method we accept for that purpose (Section 6) — a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay today, and any other method, including a supported cryptocurrency, wherever we offer it. It has to be a single payment of at least US$30 that clears; two smaller payments do not add up to one, and a payment that is pending, declined, or later reversed has not cleared. Site credit you receive for any other reason is not a deposit and never earns a referral reward. That includes referral credit, promotional or bonus credit, sell-back proceeds, credit from a free pack or a Marketplace sale, a refund, and any credit we issue as a goodwill gesture or a correction.
Referral credit is Promo Credit (Section 12): it can be spent on packs and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or redeemed for cash, and items from packs paid for with it sell back to your Ripprz Credit (Section 10). Each referred account counts once, and who referred an account cannot be changed once it is attributed. A customer attributed to a Partner (Section 15) is not also a referral, and a referral is not also a Partner's customer.
Referral milestones: every 10th qualifying referral earns you a free Prize Pack, drawn at its published odds. At most 20 qualifying referrals per calendar month (Pacific time) count toward milestones; referrals beyond that still earn the credit above, but they do not count toward a milestone in that month or a later one. If fewer than 20 count in a month, your progress toward your next milestone carries over into the next month. If 20 count in a month, your progress starts again from zero on the 1st of the next month.
If you become a Partner, your code works as a Partner code from then on. A customer you referred earlier whose first qualifying deposit has not yet cleared still earns you the credit above, and them their free pack, when it does. Earlier referrals no longer count toward milestones, and they never earn Partner commission.
If a qualifying deposit is refunded or charged back, the referral credit it earned may be reversed. Self-referrals, referring your own or shared accounts, fake or duplicate accounts, and automated sign-ups do not qualify, and we may withhold rewards for referrals we reasonably believe break these rules. We may change or end the Referral Program for the future at any time with notice on the Site; rewards already earned are honored.
You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing privacy@ripprz.com or by using the unsubscribe link where our emails include one. Leaving the waitlist does not cancel a giveaway entry you have already earned; we keep the minimum record needed to run the giveaway.
We run reward programs from time to time. A program applies only while it is running: the Prize Pack page (ripprz.com/prize-pack) lists the ways to earn a Prize Pack that are currently live, and a program not shown as live on the Site is not running.
Prize Pack. A Prize Pack is a free promotional pack containing one graded slab, drawn at random at the odds and value ranges published on the Prize Pack page when it is granted. It cannot be bought, has no cash value, and cannot be transferred or exchanged. The card you receive is yours like any other vaulted item: you can keep it, ship it (Section 9), or sell it back (Section 10) on the same terms. If no eligible card is in stock when your Prize Pack is drawn, it waits in your account and is drawn the next time you open it once stock is available; it is never swapped for a different result.
Ways to earn a Prize Pack, while each is running:
First-deposit pack. While it is running, your first-ever single deposit of at least US$30 earns one free pack, sized by that deposit: a Relics pack for a deposit of US$30 to US$99.99, an Enchanted pack for US$100 to US$249.99, and an Olympus pack for US$250 or more. It is a real pack, drawn at that pack's odds and value ranges published on its page, whether you joined on your own, through a member's referral (Section 13) or through a Partner's link (Section 15). A deposit has the meaning in Section 13: a single payment of money you pay us to load credit, never credit you were given. This pack is the whole of a referred account's reward; the US$15 of Promo Credit in Section 13 goes to the member who referred them. One first-deposit pack is granted per person: a deposit made with a payment card that has already earned one on another account does not earn another. The pack cannot be bought, has no cash value, cannot be transferred, and does not expire; the card you receive is yours like any other vaulted item, and sells back to your Ripprz Credit (Section 10). If no eligible card is in stock when it is drawn, it waits in your account and is drawn the next time you open it once stock is available; it is never swapped for a different pack.
Second-deposit bonus. While it is running, your first deposit of at least US$30 opens a 14 days window, shown on the Site with its closing time. Your next single deposit of at least US$30 that clears inside the window earns Promo Credit of 20% of that deposit, up to US$50, added when the deposit clears. A smaller deposit during the window neither earns the bonus nor uses it up. The window's closing time is fixed when it opens and never moves, and the bonus is paid once per person.
Welcome-back bonus. While it is running, if your account has made a deposit and then goes 120 hours with no deposit and no pack bought, we may offer you, once ever, Promo Credit of 20% of your next single deposit of at least US$30 that clears within 10 days of the offer, up to US$20, added when the deposit clears. The offer is shown on the Site with its closing time. It never runs while a second-deposit window is open, and it is paid once per person.
A bonus paid on a deposit that is later refunded or charged back is taken back, to the extent it has not been spent.
Bad-pull coupon. If one of the first 5 packs you open, counting free packs of a tier you can buy as well as packs you pay for, is opened while the coupon program is running and lands in the Rare or Ultra Rare tier and the card is worth less than you paid for that pack, you receive a coupon for 50% off one Relics, Enchanted or Olympus pack. A free pack costs nothing, so it can use up one of those 5 without ever qualifying; for a pack paid partly or wholly with Promo Credit, only the part paid otherwise counts as what you paid. The coupon is granted once per account, on the first of those packs that qualifies, and we tell you on the Site and by email. It applies to one pack in one order, expires 5 days after it is granted (the expiry is shown with the coupon), has no cash value, and cannot be transferred. A coupon used on an order is used up, even if that order is later refunded. What you actually pay after the discount is what counts toward the spend milestone above. The coupon is the only reward we give because of how a pull turned out.
Reward emails. We email you about the rewards on your account: an offer opening and reminders before it closes, a coupon you have been granted and a reminder before it expires, how close you are to a Prize Pack, and restock and new-card alerts for packs you have bought in the last 60 days. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link that stops them all with one click; you can also turn them off from your profile. Unsubscribing does not affect transactional emails (Section 24) or any reward you have already earned.
Rewards are limited to one account per person (Section 2) and have no cash value. You are responsible for any taxes on rewards you receive. Rewards, offers and reward emails are not available to an account that is suspended, banned or closed, or that has a payment dispute we have not resolved. We may withhold a reward that has not yet been delivered if we reasonably believe it was obtained through multiple accounts, self-referral, automation, or another breach of these Terms. We may change, pause, or end any reward program for the future at any time; rewards already granted are honored.
The Partner Program lets approved members earn commission for bringing customers to Ripprz, whether they promote online or in person. You apply on the Partners page (ripprz.com/partners), which states the program's terms, while signed in. Approval is at our discretion. If we don't approve an application, or if your partnership ends, you may apply again 7 days after our decision.
Partners must be at least 18 and hold a Ripprz account in good standing. You may be a Partner if you live outside the United States (Section 2), but the customers you bring must meet Section 2 to buy anything.
Staying a Partner. Partner status requires activity every month: you must respond to our Partner updates and check-ins, whether they reach you through the Partner Discord or by email, and each month you must submit, on your dashboard, one proof that you promoted Ripprz that month (a link to a recent post or a screenshot if you promote online; a photo of your table or booth if you promote at shows). We review each submission ourselves. There is no grace period: a month with no accepted submission, or no reply to a check-in, is grounds to end the partnership at once.
Your link and code. Your Partner code is the code on your account (Section 13): your username, or your username with a number added if an earlier account used that name. Your link is ripprz.com/?ref=your-code, and your dashboard shows both. A customer is attributed to you if, before or with their first payment on Ripprz, they sign up with your code, or arrive through your link and, within 30 days of their last visit through it, sign up, make their first deposit, or buy their first pack. Attribution is first come: a customer already attributed to another Partner, or referred by another member (Section 13), cannot be attributed to you, and a customer who has already paid on Ripprz cannot be claimed by a later link. Customers who paid on Ripprz before the Partner Program started, including customers a creator was credited with under earlier link rules, are not attributed to any Partner.
Commission. You earn 15% of every deposit your attributed customers make, from their first one on, with no minimum deposit and no cap. If we agree a different rate with you in writing, that rate applies instead. Each deposit earns the rate in force when it clears: a change to your rate applies to deposits made after the change, and commission already earned keeps the rate it was earned at. A deposit here is a standalone load of credit to the customer's balance from Add funds in the balance menu, made after the current commission rules took effect. A card charge made inside a purchase (to cover a shortfall at a pack checkout, a Marketplace purchase or a shipping quote) is not a deposit and earns no commission, and neither does anything a customer spends, sell-back proceeds, or other site credit. Commission on a deposit paid with a payment card that has also been used on your own account is withheld as self-referral (see the rules below); we release it if we find it was not. Another Partner's account cannot be attributed to you. There is no one-time bonus of any kind. You earn commission for as long as you remain an active Partner, with no time limit on a customer's attribution; if your Partner status is suspended or ends, commission stops accruing from that moment.
Payment. Commission is paid in cash, in US dollars, once a month on the 1st, for commission that has cleared a 30 days hold so refunds and chargebacks can settle first; so commission earned in one month is paid after the following month. If a deposit is refunded or charged back, its commission is reversed: before it has been paid it is cancelled, and after it has been paid the same amount is deducted from your next payouts. If a chargeback is later decided in our favour, the commission is restored. We pay by the payout method we make available to you. You are responsible for your own taxes. Commission is not site credit and is not part of your account balance (Section 12).
Disclosure. You must clearly disclose your relationship with Ripprz in every post, video, short, stream, story, or message that shares your link or code: put #ad, or the platform's paid-partnership label, where people see it before they click, not buried among other hashtags or behind "more". This applies to short-form and casual content too. It is required by the US Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and similar rules elsewhere, and failing to do it is a breach of these Terms.
As a Partner you must not:
Ending a partnership. If you break these rules, or go inactive under "Staying a Partner" above, your partnership ends immediately, with no wind-down period. Your Partner code is cancelled, every customer attributed to you is detached (no further commission accrues to anyone on their future deposits), and your account returns to regular member status: the code on your account keeps working as a referral code under Section 13, not under this Section. We may also withhold commission connected to a breach and act on your account under Section 18. Commission you have already earned in line with these Terms is not forfeited: it is still paid on the normal monthly schedule once it clears the hold. We may end any partnership at any time on the same terms.
Partners are independent. Nothing in these Terms makes you an employee, agent, or joint venturer of Ripprz, and you cannot bind Ripprz to anything. We may change the commission rate or these Partner rules for the future with at least 14 days' notice by email; a change never reduces commission already earned.
The pack simulator is a demo for entertainment only. It uses sample cards and sample weights, not the posted odds for any tier. Nothing is purchased, awarded, or added to your vault when you use it, and simulator results do not reflect or influence any real purchase.
Pages such as "Future Offerings" show previews of features we are building, including timed drops and expanded buyback tools. Before launch, the vault page may also show a clearly labeled preview with sample cards. Previews are illustrations, not offers. Prices, items, and sample cards shown in previews are placeholders and have no value. A feature is available only when it can actually be used on the Site, and it will be governed by these Terms or by additional terms we publish with it.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate your account, cancel pending orders, and refuse future service if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law or by a payment processor, or if we reasonably suspect fraud, chargeback abuse, or account sharing. Where practical we will tell you why.
Items in your vault remain your property after termination, subject to any hold under Section 7. We will ship them to you (at your cost) after identity verification and after deducting any amounts you owe us, or hold them under Section 8. Your account balance is handled under Section 12, and we may apply it to any amount you owe us before anything else.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time from your profile page, or by emailing support@ripprz.com. You can't delete it while a card is in your vault, a pack is unopened, or a shipment is on its way: ship or sell back your cards and open your packs first. Deleting removes your name, email, username, sign-in details, saved addresses and linked Discord account, and it can't be undone. Any balance is forfeited (Section 12). Partner accounts are closed by our team, so any commission owed can be settled first.
When an account is closed, by you or by us, its username becomes available for anyone to claim, and its referral or Partner code is retired for good (Section 13). Referrals it made that have not yet earned a reward are cancelled, and its Marketplace listings are taken down. If we close your account for a breach of these Terms, you may not sign in, and you may not open a new account with the same email address.
The Site, including the Ripprz name and logo, the reveal experience, the site design, and all text and software, is owned by Ripprz or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without our written permission.
Ripprz is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., The Pokémon Company, or The Pokémon Company International. Pokémon and all related names, characters, and marks are trademarks of their respective owners. We sell genuine, previously manufactured trading cards on the secondary market, and we use card names and images only to identify the products we sell.
Card artwork displayed on the Site is sourced from PSA cert data and other third-party sources for identification purposes.
PSA, Beckett (BGS), and CGC are independent grading companies. Grades are their opinions, not ours. Some slabs come to us already graded and some we submit for grading ourselves; either way we check each slab on intake against its listed grade and cert number. We do not re-grade cards and are not responsible for grading company decisions, cert lookups, or changes to their population data.
The Site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, other than the express guarantees in Sections 5, 8, and 10.
Estimated values, market data, and population information on the Site come from third-party sources and are estimates only. We do not guarantee that you can sell any item for its estimated value. Collectibles can lose value. Nothing on the Site is financial, investment, or tax advice.
We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Scheduled and unscheduled downtime can occur. If downtime on our side prevents you from completing a purchase, a buyback, or a shipment request, contact support@ripprz.com within 24 hours and we will review the server record.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ripprz and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, loss of data, or any decline in the market value of a collectible, arising out of or related to the Site or these Terms, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the Site or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to Ripprz in the 12 months before the claim arose and (b) US$100.
The cap and exclusions above do not apply to, and do not reduce, our express obligations to: (i) return, ship, replace, or credit you for a vaulted item under Sections 8 and 18; (ii) credit a buyback amount you accepted under Section 10; (iii) honor your account balance under Section 12; (iv) replace or refund under the guarantee in Section 5; or (v) any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Some states do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ripprz and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
Talk to us first. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to email legal@ripprz.com with your name, account email, and a description of the dispute. We will do the same if we have a dispute with you. You and Ripprz agree to try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days.
Arbitration. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and Ripprz agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator can award the same remedies a court could award to you individually. Arbitration will take place by video or phone, or in the county where you live if an in-person hearing is required. We will pay the AAA filing fees for claims under US$10,000 unless the arbitrator finds the claim frivolous.
Class action waiver. You and Ripprz agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate the claims of more than one person.
Delegation. The arbitrator, and not any court, has exclusive authority to resolve any dispute about the interpretation, applicability, enforceability, or formation of this Section 23, including any claim that all or part of it is void or voidable. The only exceptions are that a court decides whether the class action waiver is enforceable and whether a claim for public injunctive relief may be arbitrated.
Public injunctive relief. Nothing in this section prevents you from seeking public injunctive relief in court where the law does not allow that claim to be arbitrated. Any such claim will be stayed until the arbitration of your individual claims is complete.
Coordinated filings. If 25 or more arbitration demands raising similar claims are filed against Ripprz by or with the help of the same law firm or group of law firms, the AAA Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules apply. Each side will select 10 demands to proceed to arbitration first. The remaining demands are stayed, and any statute of limitations on them is tolled, until those first cases are resolved. The parties will then meet and confer in good faith about how to resolve the remaining demands, and if they cannot agree, additional batches of 10 per side proceed in the same way.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to stop unauthorized use or abuse of the Site or infringement of intellectual property.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@ripprz.com with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" within 30 days of the first time you accept these Terms (for example, by creating an account, joining the waitlist, or making a purchase). Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
Governing law and venue. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For any dispute not subject to arbitration, you and Ripprz consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington.
If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim must be brought in court rather than arbitration, and the rest of this section still applies to all other claims.
By creating an account or joining the waitlist you agree to receive transactional emails from us (for example verification, password reset, order, reveal, shipping, buyback, and giveaway messages). These are required to run your account and cannot be turned off while your account is open.
Marketing emails (launch news, drops, restock alerts, and the reward emails in Section 14) are optional. Every one includes an unsubscribe link that works with one click, and you can also opt out from your profile or by emailing privacy@ripprz.com.
You agree that notices, disclosures, and agreements we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will email registered users at least 14 days before the change takes effect, post a notice on the Site for waitlist members, and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases completed, buyback offers already open, giveaway entries submitted, or disputes already raised before the change took effect, except where required by law.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Giveaway Official Rules, the odds table and guarantees shown on the product page at the time of your purchase, and any Giveaway announcement are the entire agreement between you and Ripprz about the Site and replace any prior agreements.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, and we will honor your vaulted items and account balance in any such transfer.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier failures, payment processor outages, natural disasters, or government actions.
Sections 3 through 12, 15, and 18 through 27 survive termination of your account.

Part B
What we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect only what we need to run the Site, and we never sell your data.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Ripprz collects when you use the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site, our emails, and our customer support.
We collect only what we need to run the Site:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only with:
Card images on the Site are sourced from PSA cert data and delivered through our CDN. When your browser loads those images, the CDN provider receives your IP address and standard request data.
No system is completely secure. If we learn of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you without unreasonable delay and within the time required by applicable state breach notification law, by email or another method the law allows. We will tell you what happened, what information was involved, and what we are doing about it. We may delay notice where law enforcement asks us to.
You can access and update your name, phone, and shipping address from your dashboard.
You can ask us to provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (subject to the retention obligations above) by emailing privacy@ripprz.com. You can also delete your account yourself from your profile page (Terms Section 18). We will verify your identity before acting and respond within 45 days. If we decline all or part of a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond to appeals within 45 days and, where your state's law requires it, tell you how to contact your state attorney general.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time. Transactional emails continue while your account is open.
California residents: you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and share it, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we use sensitive personal information only for the purposes the law permits without a right to limit. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Residents of other states with privacy laws have similar rights and may exercise them the same way.
The Site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and no one under 13 may use the Site in any way. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, email privacy@ripprz.com and we will delete it.
We will post any changes here and update the date at the top of this page. For material changes we will email registered users at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
Part C
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Every giveaway Ripprz runs, including the Grand Opening Giveaway (each a "Giveaway"), is sponsored by Ripprz, operated by Jacob Guan, an individual doing business as Ripprz, 13239 Holmes Point Dr NE, Kirkland, WA 98034 (the "Sponsor"). No Giveaway is sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, PSA, Beckett, CGC, or any social media platform.
Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
Owners, employees, and contractors of the Sponsor, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible.
These Official Rules apply to every Giveaway. Each Giveaway is announced on the Site, by email to registered users and waitlist members, or on our social channels. The announcement states the Giveaway's name, its entry period (start and end, with time zone), the prize, and the prize's approximate retail value, and forms part of these Official Rules for that Giveaway. Where an announcement and these Official Rules conflict, these Official Rules control, except that the entry period, prize, and approximate retail value are set by the announcement.
The Sponsor's server clock is the official timekeeper. Accounts created or waitlist sign-ups made after a Giveaway's entry period ends will not be counted for that Giveaway.
No purchase is necessary. Every person who, at the close of a Giveaway's entry period, has either (a) a Ripprz account with a verified email address or (b) an email address on the Ripprz waitlist receives one entry in that Giveaway. You may create an account or join the waitlist at any time before the entry period ends. Accounts created and waitlist sign-ups made before a Giveaway was announced count the same as those made during its entry period; you do not need to sign up again.
Limit one entry per person and per email address, regardless of how many accounts or waitlist sign-ups are associated with you. Multiple accounts, disposable or fake email addresses, and automated entries will be disqualified.
Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy in Part B.
Each Giveaway awards one or more graded Pokémon slabs (PSA, BGS, or CGC) or collectible cards, as described in that giveaway's announcement. The approximate retail value (ARV) of any single prize is between US$10 and US$2,500 and is stated in the announcement. One winner receives one prize unless the announcement says otherwise, and the total ARV of all prizes in any one Giveaway will not exceed US$5,000.
The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except that the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the prize becomes unavailable. Any difference between the stated ARV and actual value will not be awarded.
Any taxes on the prize are the winner's sole responsibility. For a prize with an ARV of US$600 or more, the winner must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 before the prize is delivered, and the Sponsor will issue a Form 1099.
The potential winner will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries within 14 days after the Giveaway's entry period ends. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The potential winner will be notified by email at the address used to enter within 7 days of the drawing, and must respond within 7 days of the date the notification is sent, confirm eligibility, and, where required, sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release.
If a potential winner does not respond in time, is ineligible, declines the prize, or cannot be reached after reasonable efforts, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.
Physical prizes are shipped only to addresses in the United States. If the prize is Ripprz account credit or another account-based prize, it is delivered to a Ripprz account in the winner's name. A winner who entered through the waitlist and has no account will need to create one, which is free, or may instead ask the Sponsor within the 7-day response window to ship a Mystery Slab of equal or greater value to a United States address. Account credit awarded as a prize is subject to Section 6 of the Terms of Service and does not expire.
By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and to the Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Giveaway.
The Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, or acts in a disruptive manner. The Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond its control impairs its integrity, in which case the Sponsor may award the prize from eligible entries received before the action was taken.
Except where prohibited, by accepting a prize the winner consents to the Sponsor's use of their first name, last initial, and state of residence in Giveaway-related announcements without further compensation.
By entering, you release the Sponsor and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claim arising from participation in the Giveaway or from the receipt or use of any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Disputes about the Giveaway are governed by Section 23 of the Terms of Service.
To request the name of a Giveaway's winner, email legal@ripprz.com with the subject "Giveaway Winner" and the Giveaway's name within 90 days after that Giveaway's entry period ends.
